About Our Site

WorkplaceSafetyAdvice was formed to offer a unique reference point on staying safe in the workplace.

Last year, 229 people were killed as a result of workplace accidents. Over 100,000 people were seriously injured and 34 million days were lost as a result of accidents at work.

All workplace accidents are preventable.

By taking some simple and common sense precautions at work, accidents can be eliminated. Think how good it would be if we were able to go to work without the risk of serious injury. The website www.workplacesafetyadvice.co.uk provides you with tips to help prevent accidents at work.

Our team of experts have many years of experience working in the safety business. We have put together some simple things that can help improve safety in your workplace. The simple approach is usually the best. For example, tidying up your own work area can help to reduce the risk of an accident by 30%! The most common cause of accidents at work is slipping or tripping. By tidying the area around your desk or workspace, you will significantly contribute to your own safety and the safety of others.

This site will show you how to take care of yourself and others at work. It outlines your legal responsibility and offers advice on topics such as fire safety, electricity, using chemicals, manual handling and working with equipment.

The articles are interesting, helpful and, more importantly, will help you to work safely.

Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject.

Our features and articles are written by experts - who have experience, or a particular interest in this area.
